What is a Bidet?
A bidet is a low wash tub located near the toilet. The bidet has hot and cold water taps that control the upward flow of freshwater.
Some bits are cleaned only by current, while the bases of other bits are filled and used by hand.
The bidet is used to clean the genitals and external areas after toilet usage.
A bidet offers great benefits to personal hygiene as users can clean themselves more thoroughly than toilet paper. Bidet encourages regular washing, as users do not have to take a full shower or bath to stay clean. Also, bits save water and reduce the reliance on toilet paper.
Bidet types
Vertical spray bidet
A vertical spray bidet looks like the bottom half of a toilet. Instead of a large 3-inch opening in the toilet, a vertical spray.
As the most common type of bidet, vertical spray bidet is the least expensive to purchase and install.
Toilet bidet system
A toilet bidet system is an advanced version of a vertical spray bidet. If you are an avid bidet user, this may be the auction for you.
Some systems require an electric hookup to power electronics that provide a wide range of features. At the touch of a button, users can run water on various areas of their privacy, create enema sprays or dry with hot air. Since the toilet bidet system is also technically a real toilet, it can be used for all toilet functions. Generally, avoid using a bidet as a toilet.
Bidet toilet seat
Think of the bidet toilet seat as a compromise between the vertical spray bidet and the toilet bidet system. The bidet seat replaces the existing toilet seat. The water that normally fills the toilet bowl is returned to the bidet seat, and the seat is inserted into the nearest bathroom safety plug outlet.
The water heats up electrically in a small tank, usually taking three to four minutes to reach the proper temperature. At the touch of a button, warm water is then sent to the genitals. Some bidet toilet seats also include a hot air dryer function.
Use the toilet first
Use the toilet first before using the bidet because the bidet is not meant for urinating or defecating and the used toilet paper cannot be flushed in typical fashion.
Apply the bit
Place one leg on each side and rub the bidet against the bidet’s controls.
Tip: You may need to remove some of the articles of clothing. Err on the side of caution.
Adjust the controls carefully and slowly to create a water flow at a comfortable temperature. If the room is cold, start with hot water, then slowly introduce cold water into the mixture until the water is at a comfortable temperature. If the room is hot, you may want to have cold water.
