Can you make rice with half the calories?

Yes. There is a cooking style that can fool the eyes and stomach.

Scientists discovered it is possible to lose over 50% of the calories in rice by altering the starch to an indigestible form. If 3% Coconut Oil is added and mixed just as it boils. Then all you need to do is refrigerate it for 12 hours. So it takes some planning. Then reheat by any method and eat double… err… yeah.

Various forms of rice are affected differently. I like dry fasting so tend to leave rice alone… but a fun trick.
